Settlement Name: Prophecy
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Tax Rate: What? (Varies, tbd)
Leadership: Democracy
Sponsored by: Stone Bear Clan
Website: http://prophecypfo.guildlaunch.com/
-----------------
The Voice has urged that we become known.
We are a haven for free thinkers, free speakers and freedom fighters.
Those who feel shackled by the Laws of others are welcome to find refuge within our walls.
What some call Chaos, we call life. This is what we offer.
Live as you choose. Die as you choose.
-----------------
Developed to be one of the few Settlements willing to go "full Chaotic", we are embracing Chaos and all it has to offer. Primarily, the freedom of it's citizens to direct and shape the form the Settlement takes on.
Stone Bear Clan is sponsoring the creation of Prophecy and as such will be vying for Barbarian training, something that few others will offer.
The governing body known as the Council of Visionaries will consist of 2 delegates from each Company as well as 2 chosen by and from the citizens that don't belong to a company. This Council will be guided by the Voice, a member of the Council voted to lead the Council meetings and act as the Settlement representative when needed. A new Voice will be appointed every three months, of which the current one cannot be selected.
The primary duty of the Council of Visionaries is to vote on what direction the Settlement goes in, what develops and in what order. They will also be responsible for vetting new Companies and citizens.
Prophecy would ideally be located in the Mountains but Hills would do.

Landrush Info *IMPORTANT*
To promote Prophecy you must join it's sponsoring guild Stone Bear Clan during the Landrush event.
If you are a free agent or otherwise not already entangled in promoting another settlement and think having a truly Chaotic Settlement would be fun or beneficial to you then we would love your support! We are devoted to offering benefits to Chaotic aligned characters that you won't find anywhere else.
If you are a Company that has an interest in joining Prophecy then please post here or on the Prophecy site forum.
For those looking for a challenge or who like to play on Hard-Mode, this is the place to be. It will be an experience like no other.

So you plan on having other companies besides the SBC support Prophecy?
What do you think would be a good number of companies to be apart of the settlement? There just doesn't seem like many Chaotic companies around, do you think that the SBC could support Prophecy by itself if it had to?
Oh yes! Prophecy will be a Chaotic settlement but not a barbarian themed one like the SBC. We're hoping to draw in other companies who have the desire to help shape a settlement and even solo players who would seek to gain the benefits of Chaotic training.
We don't have the info at this time to come up with a number of companies but I could see a good many being supported. I hope the SBC won't have to support Prophecy alone and don't expect that will be the case as more players discover what we're about, but the Clan will if it needs to.

Landrush Update
Some people will use the name of their guild, because that is how they expect their guild members to find them in the list. Some people will use the name of their Settlement because that is the in-game identity they are trying to bootstrap and their meta-game Guild may not have a name that is meaningful in the context of the River Kingdoms.
You get to choose whatever you want to do.
Based on this I'm updating our Landrush Info. When the Landrush goes live we will use the name of the Settlement, Prophecy.
This settlement was never intended to be the home of just one Company and this should make it clearer to those who have in interest in joining or just supporting the settlement.

Alright folks I've started a FAQ at our site Prophecy FAQ but I'd love to flesh it out with more of your questions.

Right now we're looking more at terrain choices than compass direction. Primarily Mountain would be first choice followed by Hill. If we can't get those then we'll make do with what's available. The EE region seems to be pretty centrally located so that wouldn't be a bad thing in terms of getting around and interacting but we may decide to push out towards more of a border region later.
A lot of this is up in the air and subject to change as the Landrush and EE progresses.

The functional efficient maximum number of characters in a company is said to be 30-50 and a settlement is said to have hundreds of members. So I would guess six robust companys to 12 or 20 companys of various sizes to make a hearty settlement.

Good luck in the 2nd Land Rush Prophecy! I hope to come visit in EE (I love the idea of a CN Settlement!)
Thanks! I think we would all enjoy visitors, just be ready for anything. ;)
I like the Chaos symbol you have in your logo on your Settlement site.
You hit up both my sites, thank you! If you're interested we're still recruiting...
I'm really proud of the logo and header for Prophecy. It's added some needed color to the site. The Chaos symbol was actually a bit tricky to come up with. I knew I wanted something to represent the settlement that would be recognizable but simple enough to be used everywhere regardless of size. After deciding on the symbol itself I needed to make it unique to our settlement and decided on making one half gold and the other iron to represent Good and Evil brought together as part of a whole. I think that displays what Prophecy is all about perfectly.

We are a CN Multi-Company Settlement with the desire to allow each Company to continue to run the way they choose while having a say in how the settlement develops.
If you are a Chaotic Company, this is a no brainer. There's no tricks or hidden wires, it will only make you stronger for taking part.
If you have been dancing around the idea of forming your own settlement but don't want the added pressure then stop that now and join Prophecy. As you can see we already have a functioning website and forum which can easily be designed to add functionality your Company would like to use.
We are one of the very few Chaotic Settlements out there right now. Don't succumb to the Mega-Comps, join in the fight for your freedom. Become a Company of Prophecy and keep your identity.

Prophecy is about bringing together different cultures and ways of life, giving them the protection of a settlement and allowing them the freedom to pursue their dreams, whatever they may be.
We seek diverse Companies to find a home inside our walls. Explorers, Crafters, PvPers, Entertainers, Clergy, there is a place for you all.
As a Chaotic Neutral settlement our citizens will need to be CG, CN, CE or TN. These are alignments that fall easily into the playstyle of an FFA PVP MMO but gaming culture has taught that these are less desirable. Pathfinder Online is not like other games and while many players of other settlements will have to tiptoe around their actions the citizens of Prophecy will be able to play the game the way they want.
So what laws do we enforce? Laws?! We're Chaos! Laws are created to shackle and bind others to act in a manner the lawmaker sees fit. That's not Freedom, that's slavery. Most people are content to live in their tiny boxes, as they do in real life, does that sound like fun to you?
If you just sit around in your loincloth all day, picking flowers and painting pictures with dried up bug guts then you may be wondering who protects your Freedom. The answer to that is the Stone Bear Clan. The mighty Barbarians of the SBC are more than willing to crush the skulls of any who dare invade the lands of Prophecy. Any other citizen willing to stand up and fight for their Freedom will receive high praise and merit from the Council.
It's about time you joined Prophecy.
Vote for us in the Landrush!
