According to recent Aasimar source material, small aasimars (perhaps the descendants of halflings with celestial DNA) exist. Are small Aasimar's legal in PFS?

This would basically be the choice of only changing one thing, medium size to small size. (which would obviously cause some in-game effects like smaller weapon damage, +1 size bonus to AC, etc)

It is currently not available to Players.

No, small Aasimars are not legal.

It's actually written into the FAQ.

EDIT: I was unaware, however, that gorillas could take levels in Ninja.

No.

Its a conspiracy by humans to make PFS as humanocentric as possible.

Maybe you'll see this option on a player boons some day, although Aasimars really have a plethora of options available o them as it stands right now.

Is it that assimar have more options, or that other races are limited? Food for thought moment.

The former (at least if you own Blood of Angels). Was the use of two s's on purpose? LOL. Its actually Aasimar.

I used to correct people when they spoke it as "Ass-i-mar", instead of "Ace-i-mar", until I found out that some people pronounce (or spell) it that way on purpose.

Guess it depends on your perspective, but I was actually pointing out that it was the latter. The lack of flex stats in particular gives you the illusion that the aasimar are special. If you had flex stats they're large number of subraces wouldn't look nearly as special, and you'd see less ifrit swashbucklers I'd imagine.

I think I just guess between Assimar or Aasimar and just put down whatevers in my head at the moment....

Is that really how it's supposed to pronounced?

Yeah, you've got human, half elf, half orc, aasimar, tiefling, undine...

Then through Chronicle sheets you can have dhampir, ifrit, oread, sylph, kitsune (who aren't actually human, but shapeshift into human form)

Well the joke is that the people who choose what races are let in and the ones who sit around the table are humans. I think anyway... I haven't been checking people's ears to see if we have any elves in the crowd, but its probably safe to say that most of them are human at least.
