This might have already been answered but is there any point in Sword of Valor where the PC can rest/restock/purchase new magic items? So far the best I can come up with is to allow Queen Galfrey's forces to occupy the Vilareth Ford once and have the PC trek all the way back there if required.

Any other ideas/solutions people have used would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I will just have to ensure I set my players expectations to not getting to purchase new gear until book 3

Rest isn't an issue as they're traveling with an army. But for buying and selling you have it right, only at the very beginning and afterwards.
