I sent out the Roll20 link with the RSVP last night. I typically send out the link a few days in advance, but I've found that there's little difference between four and forty-two hours notice when it comes to most players. You may be an exception to that observation, but when more than 80% of players first sign in to Roll20 an hour before the game, I feel less pressured to dispatch that email super early.
Moreover, I've learned that lots of people sign up and drop from online tables; sending that out even a day in advance has led to me having to resend the sign-up email several times for people who sign-up/drop last minute.
Trust your GMs to give you the link; we want to run just as much as you want to play.
