Really tho, I have no idea. I would like to revisit kurast myself, cause there's more eternal conflict importance there than the random isle of the amazons. Though the same could have been said of arreat pre d2x.

Haven't used the upgrade or reroll schema yet, since I'm busy feeding the cube rare powers in batches of 8.

At some point I'm going to start rerolling focus/restraints, trying to get +discipline kickers on good ones, to up my damage further for my DH.

If you haven't got the new crusader armor for the new season, it's well worth trying to get. BIG damage boost.

I'd also like to get a calamity with good damage AND a discipline kicker. Technically, I can add on another 24-30 discipline and improve damage another 30% just with more discipline.

Amazons in the game are the sisters of the sightless eye, no? There are no male amazons in legend, if that is what you are asking.

If you want to collect more mats on bounties, call me up and I'll run a b7 with you at speed for 8 at a time and a LOT of xp for you. I don't have a problem with it, if you think you can keep up. My games are always open for in-clan, but my DH usually runs on t10. I can use my Barb or Wizard and run on lower Tiers at good speed, too.

I would like to give a shout out to Iczelion, who tweaked his monk build for group play. We had an awesome time last night. He was playing vacuum cleaner...I'd multishot a horde, paint them all with Calamity's Mark of Death, he'd run into the middle of them, suck them into a pile, bounce them around a time or two...and with them all clustered up, my Hungering Arrows tore them apart while he ladled in waves of light and 7 sided strikes to pet them with. He played control, I played DPS, and we Owned Everything.

We even got ambushed at a drop point by two rare spawns and basically the whole big room full of stuff...and didn't die, killed everything, at Tier 40 (Torment 9).

I was muchly impressed at our speed. I'd like to see if we can take it past level 52, which is the highest I've managed to do solo. Will have to see!

Played around a bit with my good dh the other night (can kinda t5 solo), and decided that for mats it was much better for me to run in t2 or t1 just for kill speed so that I can do an act bounty in 15-20 m depending on how many kill on 2nd level (or God forbid cydia) bounties I get. Three mats at 2 vs three at 4 so only leg drop is different. Not a big deal when I'm only hunting mats to feed my alt equipment builds to the cube.

Anyone had success with the gear tier upgrade recipe for the cube? My few experiments gave "no valid item" errors.

Unrelated, but I finally got my first ancient leg from a kadala gamble and it was a no orange power quiver that was kind horrible (-10% or more to all three fields).

Ancients are about 1/10 of all legends. that doesn't mean they are worth using.

They only upgrade +stats and +healing stuff. Things that really up damage, like crit, crit chance, attack speed, and cooldown reduction are not affected by being ancient.

The fanatic players who are over level 1000 will even tinker AWAY stat mods in favor of true damage mods that contribute more to the bottom line.

Ah, I was thinking of the Amazons from d2. It has been sooooo many years.

Got an Easter Egg from Visiknight last night. Apparently if you Cube a Puzzle Ring, it opens a portal to the Goblin Vault!

Speed runs on T7 bounties last night, 5 acts in under an hour 3 times. Cleared up a LOT of chest space.

ICZ and I completed 3 level 50 G Rifts, only one was in the final minute, and that one had lots of low value gimps and wasted nearly 30 seconds making us retrace our route to the way out to the next level, bloody map.

I'm not sure if its a one-shot per person, or if it can be reused.

Couple points for people if it wasn't mentioned.

There's quite a few magic items which can pop up from completing Act Bounties. These are no longer tied to individual Acts. So, for instance, you can potentially get a Ring of Royal Granduer from completing Act 2, you don't need to keep rerunning Act 1.

Secondly, I thought Act 7 maxed out your materials at 8, I was mistaken.

I ran through the Acts at Torment8 last night for speed. My Act 1 and 3 materials were 6 and 7 respectively, leaving me now with 10-12 materials range in my chest.

So, it looks like only at Torment 10 do you have a 100% chance of 8 materials per round.

Thirdly, there's a graveyard in the rifts full of the named undead of the Blizzard developers. Josh Mosquierro is the boss that spawns there.

Fourth, you can now spawn a Rift IN Whimseyshire, as opposed to just with teddy bears and unicorns.

Fifth, there are at least 4 different bounties in Sescheron. The 'king of the hill' seems to be the rarest. Hunt a cannibal, free the barbs, cleanse the shrine and king of the hill seem to be the themes.

For all you seasonal overachievers, points from Seasonal and normal achievements stack. You suck. I was on top for a bit, and now Icz has passed me by, and I'm sure Ariaspinner will as well. So unfair!

You can spawn a Vault portal by turning in a Puzzle Ring to be sacrificed to the Cube. It's just a standard goblin Vault portal, prep for your 100 million in gold and 100+ gems today!

You can spawn a portal to the Not a Cow level by turning in a Bovine Bardiche for the same thing.

The new Patch is coming, some notes for you all:

New mini-dungeons as part of bounties.
A bunch of new 'test' dungeons for people wearing full sets of class armor, like the DH unhallowed set. Accomplish the goals of the dungeon, earn an achievement.

New island map, Greyhollow. Leoric's Manor getting expanded. New forest expansion for Secheron.

Many skills/sets are getting major buffed. Example (I paid main attention to the DH):
DH Primary skills giving back 1 more Hatred then before.
Slight damage buffs.
Major Damage buffs to the Marauder and Unhallowed sets (Unhallow going from 15% per discipline point to 20%). Marauder set triples the damage of sentries and +300% dmg/sentry that is out. Unhallow 4) going from 40% to 60% dmg boost and Damage reduction.
OH, and ALL SETS INCREASE THE DAMAGE OF VENGEANCE!!! Wow, can you rip out a LOT of damage with Vengeance now!!!

===The combo of all these meant I was able to solo Tiers to 62, with 3 minutes+ remaining. In contrast, I just did 56 on normal with about the same gear and just barely slid in under the timer.

Ability to PAY GOLD for a 4th gem tinker in Rifts. The cost escalates as the Rift goes up. at 62, it was 120 million gold. Oh, and the xp reward at the end was like 1.2 billion...Finally, we have a use for billions of gold.

Kanai Cube add-on: Sacrifice a Tinkered Stone (like Bane of the Trapped) to gain 5x the tinker level in main stat to an armor piece. So, if you have a Bane tinkered to 50, you can Kanai it to add +300 (Dex/Str/Int) to a piece of armor.

So, start tinkering up those useless gems! Different armor pieces have different minimums, but the chest is, I believe, 50 (the highest). If you use a 30 gem and later want to use a 50, the second one overrides the first one.

Many magic items getting legendary affixes, like Manticore reducing Explosive Arrow AND +70-80% Explosive Arrow damage.

Do you have a compass rose and Traveler's Pledge set? They are getting major change/nerfed in my opinion. I just destroyed all of mine.

Wailing Host ring set is going to get interesting, Gives you a dmg boost and damage reduction per ancient piece you are wearing if you have NO other set bonuses...

Might of the Earth becoming a 6 piece set. We're probably going to be seeing a lot more leaping volcano Barb builds again.

Shadows set is becoming the Assassin set for DH. DH is getting a melee build based around Impale. So, get your Shadow set in place, it's going from a 4 piece to a 6 piece. One of the powers is a +40,000% dmg mod to Impale! (That's x400dmg!)

There's new music, altered graphics on numbers, and new bonuses for massacring and destroying objects wantonly.

Given how fast it is possible to level at higher Tiers, I might actually reach 800 in my lifetime! (Currently at 749..I don't play group much at all, so those are basically all solo play levels).

Been a while since I posted. Season 5 is done, season 6 is coming, new patch is here.

The requirements to get an 8th storage space were insane. I would have had to conquer 14 different set dungeons, which would mean having 2 sets for each character class and being awesome at them.

ugh. I couldn't even waste the time to do one of the dungeons. It's very frustrating to try to hit 20 creatures with one shot when the dungeons don't group up 20 creatures for you.

So, 720 levels in seasonal worked out to about +50 on my normals. I passed 800, which means I maxed all stat points out and so can only put points into the power stat or vitality now.

If you read the patch notes, they've made some adjustments.

Many of the gems which lost power in late game were buffed. Mirannae the Tear Drop, for instance, basically was useless after t8 because the damage was so low. First, they adjusted the damage to your 'average' damage, including attack speed. And, I think they put the multipliers for armor sets to affect it...plus it drops every 3 seconds now, instead of 5. At t11 (G Rift 50) it was still one shotting small fries when it fell.

It seems Simplicity's strength and Depth diggers weren't stacking with other damage buffs. Now they do, again. Magic Missile builds took off. My wizard, who couldn't play past t8, without changing her build at all, can now waltz through t10 without effort with a Tal rasha magic missile build.

At the previous patch, they upgraded DH damage from its sets. I was able to go from 60 routinely to 65 routinely, with a spike at 68 that set my max.
They've upped the damage again, and I have completed a level 71 Greater Rift with time to spare.

I tweaked my build using the Helm of Gunnes? - the one that reduces the Cooldown of Vengeance by 60 seconds and gives it the Dark heart rune. It replaced the crimson coat, so I'm not as mana efficient, but for 20 seconds out of 30, I take half damage AND gain 10 hatred/second. It's made a world of difference for survivability, my Toughness spikes to over 200 million.

I am running Stone of Zei, Bane of Trapped, and Bane of Powerful for gems, and they are all at level 70 now. Bane of the Powerful also now reduces damage from elites, and lasts well over a minute, so its basically up all the time after I kill the first elite spawn when hunting.

I have 15 freaking puzzle rings. They keep dropping. if you need money and are playing. Drop in and I'll run a t10 Vault for you, just max out your gold find and come to get money. I have 18 billion gold, and even at 335 million for a level 70 greater rift, it's going to take a bit of time to get rid of it all.

I still haven't added the Cube kickers to each of my armor pieces and jewelry. Mainly because now I have to get all these throwaway gems to level 70, which even if you are paying for them, is a LOT of greater rift runs.

At this level, having yellow pool xp up all the time for casual gaming is pretty much a necessity. i get so pissed when I get killed in a greater rift and lose my yellow bonus. That's literally billions of xp down the drain. So irritating.
On the other side, there's like six different locations you can pretty much port to and have a chance of getting a yellow pool right nearby now, so that's kind of nice.

I don't know why I pick up gems anymore, I have literally over a thousand imperials of each color now. heh.

whoops. The combo is the H Crossbow Dawn, which now has the ability to reduce Vengeance by 65%, i.e. from 90 seconds to 30 seconds. The Helm of Guines then makes all uses of Vengeance have the Heart of Darkness power to reduce all damage by 50%.

In combination with the Bracers of the Warder that also reduce damage, my Toughness can hit 230 million. Quite impressive. Damage output is slightly less since I'm not using Calamity for a 20% boost, but the more frequent use of Vengeance easily makes up for it.

I was once very impressed by the Unhallowed set granting 20% per point of discipline, It's now at 40%!
