A player is trying to convince me that this boon from Siege of the Diamond City:
applies to his Eidolon, but I tell him I don't think it does because it says "you gain a bonus" not "you and your companion gain a bonus". I do not believe this applies to animal companions, summons, nor eidolons. He claims that in the case of a summoner, his eidolon is him because that is where all of his power is.
I've searched the boards, about boons for Siege of the Diamond City and can't seem to find any ruling on this.
Does anyone know where a Paizo representative has ruled on this situation?
Thanks.

There's no need for a Paizo representative to rule on this, although one might. You are correct in your decision, Terek.
Bolding mine, "You gain..." refers to you—just you. Not your AC, eidolon, animal companion, hireling, or familiar.
This isn't a RAW before RAI contest, or a narrow reading of the text, it's just simply reading the text as written. It only applies to the PC with the boon. Simple as that.
If the player still rejects that 'interpretation,' they are more than welcome to post about it on these boards, otherwise you've done more than your due diligence in coming this far. As always, the onus is on the player, not the GM, to prove that their abilities/boons/etc work as they claim.

This is correct. A boon will call out eidolons, animal companions, and the like if they apply for the benefits.
Thank you Walter Sheppard and John Compton.
