Hey all,
I'm currently running Skull and Shackle and ran across something that kind of annoyed me. Naturally, wondering if this bugged anyone or if it was just and accident and missed. Part 2 of 6: Raiders of the Fever Sea, page 39.
"...the water in the hole is anoxic due to its poor circulation, so no creatures reside in these wrecks and even normal water-breathing magic does not function. These wrecks were thoroughly looted before being scuttled, so nothing of value remains among them."
Magic isn't normal and if nothing can breath there, how is it looted? Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Paizo's products but this type of writing frustrates me. It is one thing to say, "Oh, it's magic and this is why it is like this." Again, frustrating, but by this time, most people are used to it. Even if they do roll their eyes. But to say magic doesn't even work, yet looted? Was this over-looked in editing and an accident? Am I being dense (not the first time, won't be the last)? Thanks for any response!

They were looted before being scuttled, it says, so that would be before they were sunk. Hence no water-breathing would have been necessary :)
1 : to cut a hole through the bottom, deck, or side of (a ship); specifically : to sink or attempt to sink by making holes through the bottom
