Do drow in Zirnakaynin only worship demon lords?
How about ones from other cities?
Do some also worship calistria and nethys like normal elves?
I have a PC disguised as a drow who is a cleric of calistria - can that remain or does he need to pretend to worship a demon lord to openly be a cleric?
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. You must be cautious.
In other words, without spoiling the adventure, be very careful and very observant in the city. Get as much information as you can from the elves before you go. If you're already there, keep your eyes and ears open and your mouth shut as often as possible.
Thanks for the reply shadow born. I didn't make myself clear. I am the GM - when I say I have a PC I mean one of the PC's I am running is a Calistria cleric.
I have read through the material and it seems that the drow all worship demon lords & only demon lords, as a society, I am sure there are individuals that worship outlier deities but demon lords seems to be their thing.
So I was wondering what the canon is ( & others thought) about drow worshipping Calistria.
Easy answer: They only worship demon lords.
Best answer: GM handwave and they may, on occasion, pay reverence to other deities.
In light of you being the GM, I'll be more specific.
I believe there's a specific section in that adventure that refers to PCs having to keep things secret, specifically mentioning holy symbols. According to the material, drow only worship demons. Anyone carrying symbols of other deities would therefore be suspect.
That said, it's your game; therefore, it's your call.
