I am getting ready to start a new game and I had a idea for a feat but I would like your advise on balancing it.
The basics for the campain so far is that hey are part of a militay group for a village that is sent out on mission. (Yes think something like Naruto with the village leader sending the party out on adventures). This back drop will let me mix and match what adventures I use and why they must head to certain towns and I think will work well for me.
One of the homebrew feats I am thinking of putting in though I would like you get your advise on balancing it out.
Resupply
Pre: Must be from one of the 4 major faimly.
Benefit: You are from one of the 4 major faimlys and becouse of this you can get ressuplyed on some of your consumable gear when you return to your main village. On level up you make a list of consumable gear equal to or less then 1gp time your level squared. Each time you return to the village you a resupplyed back upto this list. On each level up your can change your list of equipment.
What do you think and any ideas on balancing it.

My initial thought is that it is quite weak. The character only get a few gp worth of items each time he stocks up.
Flavorwise I like it, so it might be appropriate as a campaign trait. But even as a trait, you could go a long way getting 900 gp in starting funds from Rich Parents.
You might take a look at the Deep Pockets ability of the Pathfinder Chronicler, which has a bit more usability, while able to fit your flavor. The limit could be lowered to 50 gp per level perhaps, or something scaling like you suggest.
