Only The Blues Brothers compares to these movies even.
Bad Santa maybe.
But Caddyshack is the single greatest work of art ever created by a human being.
I can hear him in heaven, telling me "you really need to get out more.....go to a museum or something..."
But it's true. greatest work of art ever.

I do feel sad about this. Ghostbusters is one of my favorite movies. Egon Spengler was kind of a personal hero of mine.
Same here - that character is the classic egghead scientist combined with occult ghostbusting badass. Animal House sort of worked as a bible/blueprint for living for me, so - yeah - this sucks and he was way too young to go,
In his memory I will use Strange Eons to stat Egon, Ray, Peter and Winston for Arkham Horror. Won't be too hard to create a write up for Gozer the Destructor..... and maybe have the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man be his herald. Or maybe combine them since the SPMM was technically Gozer's manifestation on earth.
He will be missed, RIP

This news makes me very sad. His acting was great in "Stripes" and "Ghostbusters," his writing was always witty, and he was a talented and fairly prolific director as well. Heck, I took the "perfect man" monologue delivered by Andie MacDowell in "Groundhog Day" as a list of self-improvement goals while in college. I laughed at so many of his movies when I was a teenager, which is the biggest compliment you can give a comic artist.
In short, I will very much miss Harold Ramis.
