Hello, all! Glenbuckie Publishing has released four classes over the past week-and-a-half or so, which I hope you'll enjoy!

The Gladiatrix!

The Aperturist!

The Battle Maiden!

The Final Revolver!

Cool. Nice options.

Gladiatrix page says:

"Built on the chassis of the bararian"

Looking at the Final Revolver preview -

* This sentence needs rephrasing. "The final revolver is too paranoid to sleep peacefully, and never has been."

* Glances: are the abilities using one paranoia, or one point/use of paranoia? Just feels a little clunky.

* Love the flavor of the Base Class, though it is very unclear why this is a Base class and not an archetype of the gunslinger. I'm all for new Base Classes, as you know...

Looking at the Aperturist preview:

* Main heading says: "Aperutrist"

* Class skills says:"The aprturist’s class skills…"

* Class Features and Weapon and Armor Proficiencies reference Gladiatrix, not Aperturist

I do like the general concept, but I find the flavor lacking and the scitech jarring.

Looking at the Battle Maiden preview:

No noticeable typos. The class seems like a mix of inquisitor and oracle and paladin, but there isn't much grabbing at me conceptually. I get that it is divinely inspired, but that is about it. I feel the Shrine ability needs much more flavor and explanation.

Looking at the Gladitrix preview:

*Role says:

"the gladiatrix is a showman and an aggressive defender. Her grit and deeds make her a formidable force, and her skill with certain combat styles makes her highly powerful in melee. Her brutality is usually incredible, both in how terrifying it can be and how good it is at keeping foes centered on him."

Typo on the first capital. Also I think Gladiatrix is an exclusively female term.

* Missed capitalization on "the" in Weapon and Armor Proficiencies.

* I don't feel the lawful alignment, but that is personal preference.

* I also was under the impression that Alternate Classes don't make trades for abilities of the class they are an alternate for. Alternate Classes, from my understanding are sufficiently different from the class they are based upon, and cannot be multiclassed with the core/base "parent" class. This feels like an archetype.

I'm harsher on this as I just purchased TPK's Ultimate Gladiator, that presents the Gladiator as a Base CLass, and provides a bunch of archetypes, one of which is the Gladiatrix.

Okay, permit me to discuss the mechanical issues.

The final revolver is a new base class because it's built on an entirely different chassis. The way I see it is that archetypes replace a few things, alternate classes have tons of differences but the same chassis, and base classes are built very differently.

Each glance uses the amount of paranoia that is stated in the glance's description.

For the battle maiden, the shrine is a pretty big part of the class, but from what I recall, they aren't included in the preview. They offer additional focus of weapons, bonus spells, and a few additional abilities. Also, they're not tied to any specific god.

For the gladiatrix, it simply refers to a female gladiator. Just as, in traditional meanings, "sorcerers" and "sorceresses" were exactly the same but had different names, a gladiatrix might be a guy and call himself a gladiator. As to the alternate class v. Archetype thing, the reason I call it an alternate class is because it has drastic changes but is built on the same chassis. Because it has the same structure, I figured that showing what abilities were equivalent to others was fine. Also, I don't recall saying that they were all lawful, simply most.

Thank you so much for the look-over!
