Howdy, everyone! We all remember the Truenamer from the D&D 3.5 days. As with everything else in that book, awesome premise and bad implementation were the name of the game.
I'm looking to fix that by rewriting it to be more logical and flow in a way that is actually balanced with the rest of the game. As Pathfinder tends to have more power than 3.5, this job is actually much simpler than it would have been five or six years ago.
As Truenaming is a skill-based magic system, the calculation of DCs is particularly important. What complicates things is that not everyone builds characters in the same way, and 2 points of Intelligence can mean the difference between 150 spells a day and 175 spells a day.
This is where you all come in.
If you'd like to help provide datas, please let me know what sort of character build system you use, whether you consider it low, medium, or high power, and how much Intelligence you would expect to have at levels 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 if you were playing, say, a wizard. They're close enough in the way you'll assign ability scores.
Thanks in advance!
