So I felt that I needed to post about my experience with Here Come The Flood.
So, as most people have been saying this scenario is a lot about luck, though you do need a good stategy. Well for me and my wife this scenario was nothing but good luck.
We won this scenario hands down. Black Magga ate just two allies out of the 18 and we rescued 14 of them. Two must have drowned I guess (we failed the checks late in the game). Black Magga on the other hand completely cleared the Dam for us, ate for of the Boas, and several monsters as well. The only thing that Black Magga ate that we missed was a Front Longbow +1.
The biggest issue we faced was the Falling Bell, which my own stupidity lead to it being a worse situation. Merseil evaded it twice in a row and we figured it couldn't be on the top a third time. So Lini joined Merseil and explored once, and like we said, it couldn't be on op a third time. So eventually Valeros took a shot and Falling Bell with three people instead of one.
Still aside from that the scenario was a complete success. Plus it was another unigue and fun one. And as a fan of the adventure paths it was completely in the spirit of the original encounter it was based one. Thanks again guys for a great game.
