I noticed ages back that pretty much all the fantasy races were related. Banshee, fairy, sprite, Elves, dwarves, ogres, trolls, giants all sit on a common family tree. The really big ones are man eaters.
We can see that these fantasy creatures are just ostracized humans sufficiently different from what we consider acceptable, So gigantism is a side effect of eating your fellow man? So if we want a race of giant supersoldiers we should be eating the enemy?
