Howdy Guys!
Alright, tonight is the big night for my group. We're getting into PFS and starting with the module MotFF. I've read the thing inside and out and feel incredibly confident in running the adventure. However, I'm struggling with understanding exactly how to fill out the character's Chronicle sheets at the end of the scenario.
I know that the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play says on page 29 that modules are awarded XP, PP, GP slightly different but I'm not quite grasping the math here. Do I just award the surviving PCs the GP listed on the Chronicle Sheet or do I instead plug it into the GP Gained section of the document and follow the rules for selling items as normal?
I know this might seem like a mediocre problem but I've been so busy with everything else that I haven't had much time to devote my mental faculties to understanding the math behind this.

If the players successfully complete the module, going through all the rooms, they'll get 1 XP, 1 PP, and the gold listed on the sheet. (500ish gp).
If they, say, make it all the way to the final room, but decide not to enter that room, then you would deduct the listed gp and items for that room from the chronicle sheet.
As long as they complete everything, award the gold listed.

Hi Nathan!
Jeremy steered you right! MotFF is different than most modules (similar ones are We Be Goblins! and Dawn of the Scarlet Sun) in that it is meant for just one session, so just 1 XP. This is true for all of the Free RPG-Day modules (that are sanctioned). The guide instructions are for the regular 32-page modules in general.
Please note what Jeremy said about 1 Prestige Point/Fame - the chronicle sheet says 0, but this has been changed. Also there isn't a "listed gp" for each room (this is in regular scenarios), but you could take off 1/6th the sell price of items not found. However, unless they particularly negligent in defeating encounters or finding treasure, this isn't usually necessary.
Enjoy! I'm about to run this again myself.

So for clarity's sake- as long as they go through the entire adventure they gain only the listed amount of gold in the Max Gold box. I won't have to add up any items sold and give that extra amount of GP as well. But if they do not find an item I still subtract the amount of GP they would have earned from their Max Gold?
*EDIT *Wait, is it possible for characters to get more GP from an scenario/module/adventure than what is listed as Max Gold?

Nathan, the max gold listed is the selling price of basically all the treasure in the scenario. The assumption is they give everything they find (including empty potions, read scrolls, used wands since there is no penalty for using found loot) and the Society gives them the gold for it. They can't sell anything they find for more gold, because they're already "selling it" to the Society.
