This isn’t quite a recruitment thread but more of a general advertisement.
I will be coordinating, likely the first, play-by-post run PFS special here on the Paizo message boards – Siege of the Diamond City.
From the blurb:
After a recent discovery of a lost city in the heart of the demon-infested Worldwound, Pathfinder agents from around the world flock to Nerosyan, capital of the crusader nation of Mendev, to prepare for the coming adventure. When the city falls under attack, however, everyone within its walls must take up arms to defend against the Abyssal hordes. Do the Pathfinders have what it takes to hold back the demonic onslaught, or will their souls be among the first to be consumed when the Diamond of the North falls?
Designed to be run as an epic, multi-table event in which the actions of each table has the potential to turn the tide of battle, Siege of the Diamond City sets a new standard of interactivity for the fan-favorite convention special format.
As this is intended to be a timed event and the PFS leadership has showed concerns about losing the sensation of real life time pressure in a PBP format, this game will feature an aggressive time table. We’re planning to start February 7th and finish within 2-3 weeks. In addition, many of the events are meant to function in sync across all the tables involved. Due to this aggressive pacing and need for heavy coordination, I’m looking at the smallest special I can muster – five tables of four players each.
At this point I’m looking for one or two additional judges, ideally ones that have already participated in this event in a face to face environment. Please keep in mind the aggressive pacing I mentioned earlier in the post. I want judges that can commit a certain amount of time to their players in order to give them as much time as possible to achieve the scenario’s goals. I need a bit more than once-per-day posting.
If you’re reading this and you’d like to play, feel free to sound off but know that if it does come to open recruitment, I’ll likely start a separate thread.

The event is approved, the DMs commited, and the seats filled. We're on track for the first PFS Play by Post special event ever! You can follow the action here.
Individual 'tables' will occur across multiple threads all linked at the top. Event-wide narrative and communication will occur in the above link. This starts next Friday (Feb 7th).
