Greetings all,
I have a pre-paid card with an exact balance of $50 on it from xmas. I would like to be using the entire thing on an order and use my holiday promo code I got in the mail along with it. Unfortunately I cannot purchase a Paizo card as it will decline as the balance is over $50 after tax. This is the same thing that happened when I tried to use it for the order itself. I am perfectly willing to pay the difference, but outside of this gift card it is unlikely that the promo code will get used. :(
The simple solution would be to enter two payment methods.. but a simple search tells me that's not something you guys are able to do at this time.
Thoughts/Ideas?

Unfortunately we are unable to omit sales tax. Christopher's advice above is about the best we could give you. In instances where multiple payment methods need to be used, we usually advise that each payment method be used to purchase store credit, and then use store credit on the order—we do not currently have any other option for using multiple payment methods on the same order.

Apparently there is 18.60 pending on the gift card already.. not sure how this occurred..
Perhaps I was not clear, there is a 18.60 charge on the card.. from Paizo. I did not place an order for this amount..

Hey there,
Sorry that your post slipped by me yesterday. Thank you for following up.
It looks like you had previously tried to use this gift card to place an order for a $16.99 item plus sales tax. The card had been declined by our credit card processor because the billing address did not match what was on file for the card's issuing bank, however the bank accepted the authorization despite this.
I have placed an authorization reversal request in, which is us notifying the bank that we are expiring the authorization. Usually any funds held will be released within 5 business days, however the gift card's issuing bank ultimately controls when this authorization expires. If you wish to expedite this process, we suggest contacting the gift card's bank.

Thats a pretty serious ouch considering I had intended to use the card on the post holiday sale. Those 5 days basically kill that plan. This is a one time use gift card.. and I have not ever been asked to supply an address for it to the issuing bank.. It sounds to me like I basically can't use the card with Paizo even after the reversal happens.

For prepaid debit gift-cards, there is usually a phone number or website printed on the back of the card. Either form of contact should allow you to discover or change the billing address for the card.
