I was just wondering if any GMs have fleshed out Geb, more specifically Axan Wood and Mechitar. I am running my party through You Only Die Twice and due to an unforunate party death, the party must now travel to Mechitar (through the wood, presumably) to meet up with a ship from the Society with some aid.
I've looked in the campaign setting and aside from some undead trees in the wood and black pyramids in Mechitar, I'm scrambling for some ideas to get the ball rolling on how to flesh out this unexpected detour.
Thanks for any ideas.

Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Mythic Realms has a sizable chapter on Mechitar, though it is presented as a location more appropriate for mythic adventures. Given the circumstances, though, I imagine you could still get plenty of good use out of it.
I know of nothing that provides more information about Axan Wood than the Inner Sea World Guide.

Thank you sir, I will look into that book.
As for what I have planned, I'll give the PCs the option to skirt the wood, subtely deterring them by informing them it will add another week to their journey. Populating the wood with some random encounters of spiders, ettercaps, shadows, and mabye some undead trees although I have no idea if a fitting monster exissts in the Beastiaries. Nothing too tough since they're down a man.
I want to give them an RP encounter in there so I was thinking about building up a hermit NPC that lives in a shack in the middle of the undead forest. Cliched, yes, but I'm brainstorming on how to make it a bit more unique.
Mechitar I've built up to be very dark and dangerous. They will mostly keep their heads down (or get summarily annihilated by the droves of undead) until they get to the docks. After they locate the ship, there will be an old acquaintence of theirs whom they thought dead aboard, incapacitating the resurrecting cleric(probably through poison she ingested on the voyage which just so happens to take effect right after the res takes place) and springing an ambush on the party, with skeletal archers positioned on the roofs of the dockside warehouses and some roguey undead types hidden amongst the general commotion of the dock workers.
Two additional agents will be on the boat to assist the party, both of which they've interacted with before. A higher level sorcerer and an archer bard. After the encounter, the bard will offer to accompany them, and I will leave it completely up to the party whether or not they would like an NPC. Afterwards they will head back to Corpselight without much fanfare to continue on with You Only Die Twice.

Yeah, I was looking at Oracle or Witch. It's funny you mention the oracle of life because that's exactly what the dead PC is. That might lead to an interesting RP session. Something along the lines of:
"You have a dead one? Ah, he who is who I am, or who I used to be. I know not. He can hear the same voices as I. Can you? They speak honeyed words, but truly their prose is lies."
I might work on coming up with some more confusing lines like that just to mess with their heads. I'll work on it.
