Adumbration

I have had an interesting idea for a kingmaker modification I am hoping to get help vetting it out. I want to integrate the ancient Cyclops nation into my game a bit more, and then have that lead into more back story for Vordekai. If anyone else has done something like this I am interested in hearing about it. If anyone has any ideas about where I can take this that would be awesome too.
-Nyrissa is interested in trying to see the future.
-She is aware of a major Cyclops city in the Stolen Lands. She is also aware the cyclops have a natural ability to see glimpses of the future.
-She pulls said city into her first world. This will be forshadowing her attempts at her ultimate goal of the entire stolen lands.
-She is able to utilize the Cyclops natural abilities of divination to see into the future. This is how she gets her visions of her own death.
-Because she wants no one else capable of using this power and finding out her weakness, she sends the Cyclops city into its own isolated area.
-No one ever interacts with the Cyclops people again.
-Vordekai still back on Golarion fades into obscurity as per the books events.
I hope to have a few areas “cyclopsed up” a bit.
-The warriors burial site will be of Cyclops era.
-Under Candlemere(likely) I will have a set of ruins that are from the ancient Cyclops. Within, it will have some sort of magic device that was set up long ago by agents of Nyrissa. This is the device that is responsible for the disappearance of the city. If interacted with, the PC’s will end the effect and bring the city back into the present day.
This opens up some interesting possibilities. Either I can have the Cyclops citizens dead or still alive. They can either be hostile or potential allies (my current preference is alive and allies) This may also add in some interesting politics when they try to interact with the centaurs. How will they react when the PCs are now allies of an ancient enemy.
-Could use some other areas...
-The link to Vordekai will be the city was subjugated by him long ago. There will be some references to the 'Power in the East', or some such. Being that ancient Cyclops people worshiped the Sun, I think there is a chance to have the PC’s be unaware of just what power in the east means. Many may think it refers to the sunrise in the east, when actually it refers to Vordekai. I will need to add some clues to point to something other than sunrise. IF the PC’s investigate, they may be able to find out what the Power actually is.
These ideas are not fully flushed out obviously. Again, curious if anyone has thoughts or ideas of where to take this.

I'm just spitballing here. But what if there is no Vordekai?
Vordekai's a great adversary, but he's also something of a thematic break for the series. Where most of the path is about fey opponents and their patsies, Vordekai is ... an undead lich who worships manifestations of death.
In lieu of Vordekai (and maybe even in lieu of his tomb), how about an immortal medusa sorceress and her minions?
In this storyline, Nyrissa pulled the cyclops city into the First World. After she was done with the cyclopes, Nyrissa gave the city to the medusa sorceress, charging her with pacifying the city and guarding it from incursions by mortals.
The medusa amused herself for a while with the cyclopes, but of late (the last few decades or so), she's been hanging out in the ruins of the city on Golarion. Occasionally, modern, brutish cyclopes will visit the ruins, drawn by some ancient instinct. These creatures she charms or turns to stone.
Nyrissa now demands that the whole stolen lands be brought to the first world, and among her many charges, she commanded that the medusa sorceress begin preparing the Stolen Lands for her. The medusa starts by imprisoning the souls in Varnhold, which will give the magical device power to again open a portal between lands.
PCs will confront the medusa twice. The first time, they will have a pitched battle in the ruins of the cyclops city. Assuming they gain the better of the fight, the medusa will transport herself to the First World, leaving it to your players to figure out how to follow her. (Leave clues).
As far as the cyclops city ... the cyclopes will be there. Fifty or more status scattered across the city in the First World, all that remain of a once proud metropolis.
For bonus points: Make her a mythic medusa. They have the ability to temporarily unpetrify their statues.

And it serves as nice foreshadowing for Phomandala in the final chapter, if you make the two of them connected somehow.
That said, your own ideas sound pretty cool Adumbration. Regarding the "power in the east" thing, perhaps make references to a darkness that would normally blot out the sun's blessed light, referring to it as an eclipse or a sunspot, things like that?

I like the idea of the Cyclopsed locations such as Candlemere Island and I think I'll add that to my campaign since I'm not up for making it all Old God related like most games. I think if the players interact with the tomb in Candlemere it causes Vordeki's tomb to emerge and be discovered in book 3.
One idea I like involving is that he and Nyrissa war against each other. After all if he fully regains his power he be a match for her and can ruin her plans with the Stolen Lands. So he starts building up an undead army by kidnapping Varnhold and the surrounding farms along with a few other locations for souls and zombies. It be fun to have with Fey army vs Undead army along with give more reason why those Sprigins are in Varnhold besides causing trouble.
