Products needed for Varisia-based campaign?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I was collecting up PF materials for gamemastering a campaign based in Varisia on Golarion. What in addition to the below (that I have already purchased) would be useful--I am curious about setting-specific stuff, not generic supplements like "Faiths of Purity" or the like:

Rise of Runelords AP and map folio
Curse of the Crimson Throne AP and map folio
Second Darkness AP and map folio
Second Darkness Companion
Varisia guidebook
Korvosa guidebook
Magnimar guidebook
City of Strangers (Kaer Maga) guidebook

I have the Inner Sea World Guide, of course, and its map folio, plus the Inner Sea Magic supplement and the Inner Sea Primer for my players to use.

You seem to have overlooked the Shattered Star books.

The Shattered Star map folio, in particular, is really nice.

people of the north????

Scarab Sages

The free players guides to the Varisia APs, including Shattered Star and Jade Regent (last one doesn't have much to say on Varisia other then a few NPCs, but it is free, so get it)and the first Comics-Hardcover.
The Modules

  • Godsmouth Heresy
  • Academy of Secrets
  • The Harrowing
  • Feast of Ravenmoor
  • and especially Murder's Mark
. Also Towns of the Inner Sea, Lost Kingdoms, Classic Monsters Revisited and Inner Sea NPC Codex

Also Lost Kingdoms for more on Thassilon. And, most Season 4 PFS scenarios are set in Varisia.

But we've probably overloaded what you originally asked. Varisia is the most-developed region of Golarion, and has more support material than any other. But it's still a very big place by itself. I ran a campaign in Varisia, and the PCs never got to a major city other than Magnimar or Kaer Maga.

So, you really only need the products detailing the areas where you'll be sending your PCs.

If you want to run a Varisian sandbox, I'd still suggest the same. It's a big place, and you can easily set some soft boundaries.
