I originally made this account with the username Perish Song for the main account for online anonymity, but have since primarily used an alias with my actual name for the RPG Superstar contest.
Is it at all possible to have make my Alias into the main account so that it has that dashing blue color and displays forum titles?

It wasn't possible a year ago when I asked.
If the changes to the website that took place in mean time would allow for such change, I would be very interested as well.

It is possible, but it takes special (manual) intervention by Customer Service and I don't know that they've got a procedure in place yet to handle these sorts of requests. If you're really interested in pursuing it I'd send them an email but let them know it's not urgent and then be (very) patient.
