So, in my current game our GM is fond of giving us random items; ocassionally we roll a d100 & pick a "type" of object, and I got a 99, earning me this custom item:
Getaway Chalk:
Draw a square on the ground; as long as you are within 2 miles of it you can teleport back to it as a standard action. Each week, you can “draw” the equivalent of 36 5x5 squares, the chalk regenerates these squares each week. You can bring other individuals with you, but you must draw enough space for all the individuals to fit (so, if you wanted to bring 2 individuals with you, you would need to draw on 3 5x5 squares).
I'm trying to work out the pricing for it since it has a bunch of conditionals attached for it; it seems like a good item to use in my own campaigns, and the GM told me he had created it pretty spontaneously, so he has no pricing up.
Requirements:
Spell: Getaway;
CL: 11th
Type of item: use-activated, slotless, long duration;
From preliminary calculations, it should be over 100000 gold; but at the same time, I find it's more limited (limited people, limited range, limited use per week) than a lot of less expensive items, so I tend to price it closer to "boots of teleportation" at 40000 gp. The calculating price table just doesnt seem to be made for these type of things, so I'd be interested in knowing what people think.

Off topic: I recall a game about 25 years ago in which one of my prominent NPC arch-mages, when teleporting, drew a luminescent arched doorway with the tip of his staff and stepped through it. It was just a bit of color ... but the players were absolutely delighted, so it became a hallmark of wizards and the standard method of high-level transit ever afterwards in that campaign.
What, pray tell, is a bananastaff? [And if it's vulgar, I don't want to know. ;)]

The bananastaff: Each day, the bananastaff produces a bunch of 1d8 bananas. These bananas only regenerate if all the previous day's banana's where removed.
It's a random item that I think is funny & useless.
I've actually been thinking about "arcane line" type spells for a while, and since our GM is letting us use custom spells... I'm making a few of my own.
