Refreshing Old Scenarios?

Has there been any thought at Paizo on revisiting prior season Scenarios and giving them a new coat of paint? I know my local group enjoys a challenge and a lot of them tend to dread (maybe too strong a word, let's say not look forward to as much) early Season Scenarios due to their overall easiness (encounter wise). I bring this up because my local game store is going to be running "Echoes of the Everwar" and I glanced over the reviews (star wise, then a bit more in-depth) and the impression I get is the last one is especially anti-climactic (not sure on the rest). I even read a post/comment by the creator and he said that he designed it for 4 people (obviously, Season what 1?) as well as 15-point buy system, and as we all know games can get up to 7 people and we use a 20-point buy.

Along those lines I periodically find really weird stuff in the Scenarios that kinda gimp the NPC's, feats that make no sense, feats that plain don't even do anything for said NPC. I think reviewing and fixing that stuff could go a long way to making things a little more challenging for the PC's. Thoughts?

TetsujinOni is correct. We're always looking for ways to put out more content for the campaign, but until we expand our development, artistic, and editing resources internally, we're pretty much at maximum capacity. Work has been done on updating several scenarios but none except Mists of Mwangi ever made it all the way through to release. We don't have an estimate of when the rest will do the same.

This was asked specifically about season 0 but Mark has given a similar response when asked about other seasons. The holdup is the Paizo quality process, which can't be "short-circuited" even for a pdf only product.

Heck I'd do it for free\swag and just send them all the edited PDF's and say "Here, take a gander". lol Just saying they don't need to be completely re-done, just level-set to now and the obviously wrong stuff fixed. Still given how old those threads are I'm guessing that nothing is going to be done anytime soon. Oh well. :-/ Thanks for the link.

Again, there is more to Paizo's editing process that "taking a gander" at your edited pdf. Think about it like this, would you rather them continue to put out the excellent scenarios they are currently, or put that on hold to go back and re-hash old product? Because that is, literally, the choice when the same people are responsible for both new and old product.

Paizo could just contact a few folks that have written the scenarios for them and have them update it and re-release them. That way they can release both new old scenarios and season 5 for double the profit without having to heavily dip into their current work force. I am 90% sure the vast majority of those writes will do it for free for the community.

Again, they have plenty of people that could rewrite the scenarios. They do not have the people required to review those rewrites and ensure they meet Paizo's quality control standards. Not without holding up new products, and when your business survives based on sales of new products, they take precedence over old products.

You can't just pull some volunteer from the streets/forums and have them QA/QC a product to company standards with no in-house experience.

At the same time, a community-built set of "scripts" which could be used to augment the roleplaying in early-season scenarios could be useful. While it would do nothing to improve the combat situation, it would do a lot to make these scenarios feel more...real.
