I've been eyeing the subscription for the PACG.. The problem is.. the description about HOW the sub works is a little lacking..
So say I start it with the Adventure Set 2 (which is an option) .. do they eventually send me the Character AddOn too?
As well, how often do they send? whenever the next path is avaliable (bi monthly)... so say the Adventure SEt 3 comes in .. tomorrow.. do I get two shipments this month?
Reason I ask, was I got the Base Set and Character Addon as a gift.. but I think the subscription is an awesome idea.. and I'd love to signup, but don't want to get a duplicate...

Subscriptions only go forwards with products so you will not be sent any products that have already been released. If you start with Adventure Deck #2 Skinsaw Murders you will not get the Rise of the Runelords Base set or the Rise of the Runelords Character Add on Deck expansion.
The current pace of releases for the card game is bi-monthly. Skinsaw Murders AD was originally released in October, so starting with that now will most likely ship both Skinsaw Murders AD and Hook Mountain Massacre AD together. You should have an option when you start the subscription with Skinsaw Murders AD to add it to a "future shipment" which will make sure both decks ship together.
If you are going to sign up starting with Skinsaw Murders AD, do so soon. I'll be starting the process for December subscriptions soon and Skinsaw Murders will be dropping off as an option to start with.
