So how will PFO control names that are real. There is local personality, Hunter Drohojowska-Philp. THat is such a great name. The character could be male or female. How would PFO know this is a real name.
But is so great. If you are not local, do you even know how to pronounce Hunter's surname? It is lyrical.
Can I use the Drohojowska surname but a different personal name (there ei fiction character with that surname)? Can I use Smith as a surname? Or Zarathustra?

It'll be a bit difficult for GW to control the use of a name just because it exists in the real world. Michael Brown is the most-common name in the Untied States, but it'll likely be dinged--if it gets dinged--because it doesn't sound as if it comes from the River Kingdoms more than because it belongs to in-numerable actual people.
BTW, anyone who studies and writes about Georgia O'Keeffe is just fine with me :-).

Here is a little bit about the latest on naming your character for PfO. I am not sure if you will find what you are looking for in here or not Lam. :) Naming Conventions
Edit: Oops. The actual post that I meant is a few above where the link takes you.
