In my KM game, the PCs have just been told some wild-eyed nonsense about the Stag Lord, that he is the son of a god and a she-demon.
The party's Oracle of Lore is delving into The lore of the Stolen Lands via Focused Trance (+24 Knowledge at 1st level) for information about demigods. So I could reveal the Stag Lord's true history, but I'd rather use the opportunity to feed him some initial lore or even just hints about the Big Picture, while still leaving lots for later research and reveals.
Any advice/ ideas?

Gotta love Lore Oracles, they can really throw you for a loop at low levels.
I'd definitely play up the Fey presence in the Stolen Lands. Point him toward things like how the forest is full of The Little Folk (foreshadowing Perlivash and Tyg if they haven't met them yet), and how to appease them. Tell him of Faerie queens who walk the wondrous paths taking consorts of men and monsters alike (a bit of foreshadowing there of Nyrissa's dalliances with the likes of the Stag Lord, Hargulka, and so forth, as well as The Dancing Lady) and mighty hunters who make prey of men and beasts (again The Dancing Lady, as well as Teorlian and Rigg, and maybe even The Scythe Tree and Hargulka, and heck even as far as The Horned Hunter of Book Six).
Stories of Demigods would certainly point him toward the Eldest (or whatever equivalent your world has if you're not playing in Golarion), as well as things like The Great White Stag. He might even get a bit of Armag, given his legendary status and mythical tale of rebirth, though I'd reserve that tidbit for a really high roll.
Basically give him little bits of legend and lore about the area, nothing overly specific but lots and lots and lots of little details.
