I echo Lady Ophelia's sentiments? Can we send a message of support? If we can give some comfort to Jon Gregory's family, we should.

I don't know if there will be anyplace to send condolences at this time, but I will post as soon as I find out.

In the meantime, I would like to throw out a quick memory of Jon.

This came at the climax of Krome's Carrion Crown campaign, and we were fighting the main villain.

Spoiler:

We were fighting the lich, as well as an undead dragon. Jon's gunslinger character got tk'd off of the top of the tower, and barely survived the fall. As he lay on the ground at the base of the tower, with only 3 hp left, he took a shot at the undead dragon. Crit. He destroyed the undead dragon flying hundreds of feet directly above him, only to cry "Oh, $h!t when he realized that thousands of pounds of rotten undead dragon flesh was plummeting directly for him.

He saved the day, and survived the encounter.

I don't have his brother or father's email address, unfortunately. I'll try to get that and PM it to those that wish to send condolences.

We are going to be having a benefit in his name to help his family take care of the funeral expenses, and any funds past that will be going to either the Make-A-Wish Foundation or to the Missouri transplant group.

Jon had a liver transplant about 10 years ago, and this spring it started having trouble. He was on the list, but unfortunately one didn't come in time.
