Looking for a map of an inn in a module / AP

Gamer Life General Discussion

I have most of the pdfs for the Adventure Paths and the Modules, but none of the flipmats. I was wondering if there was a generic inn I could use for our session tonight. Nothing specific, other than an inn quite a few zombies can show up in and attack the place. I saw there was a seedy inn flipmat, but I don't have the money to buy anything new, so if there's a suitable inn in an old adventure, that'd be perfect. Thanks ahead of time!

I've got a couple tavern maps posted on my G+ page, one is 11 inches wide at 300 ppi, you should be able to adjust the size to something more like the scale you need with Photoshop or other image editor. There is no grid on the map, though. If you're using a VT application to play, then placing a grid is no problem.

Just click on any of the images, zoom in to full scale and save the file to your computer.

Otherwise check out the Cartographers' Guild, there should be many worthy tavern maps on that site, if you search.

Your site is great, thanks! And I had completely forgotten about the Cartographer's Guild. I knew there was some resource for finding maps I had forgotten.

The Exchange

There is also a "Country Inn" Flip-Mat that is quite nice.

Though IMO it would have been nice to have two different maps, rather than the reverse side being the same map but with the roofs obscuring the inside.

While I do create maps with grids (sometimes), the target market for my most recent map designs are for people using virtual terrain applications like MapTool, Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, etc. Those apps all include a way to place a grid, so I leave the grid off for that purpose.

Silver Crusade

There's an inn map in First Steps 3 scenario, and it's even a free download.

If you're willing to go the extra mile to have a real unique place, you can probably dig to find actual floor plans that could then be adapted by you into a grid. I've done this for more complicated things like cathedrals.
