My KM game has been on lengthy hiatus, but it is fixing to start up again and I am excited to incorporate some of the new rules.
I am having trouble with a few concepts and I am genuinely not sure if these are even rules changes or just things I am remembering wrong (or never had right in the first place).
Can multiple settlements inhabit the same hex? It seems like a no brainer, since you can make a city out of multiple districts. But it just doesn't fit with what I remember.
Can you put a settlement in a hex with a farm or other terrain improvement? UCam seems to suggest that you can but I can't find where this is just spelled out and I'm pretty sure the KM rules say no to this.
I'm sorry if these have been answered elsewhere. I am just not getting anywhere re-reading.
Thanks

I don't see the answer on my first look through the rules, but my take would be to rule that a settlement is a terrain improvement, and not one with an asterisk. So, it could share a hex with some other improvements, but not with another settlement.
That's probably unrealistic, but it is simple and clear, and it's only a game.

I'm inclined to agree that a settlement counts as a hex improvement. Though like you I can't find a specific rule calling this out. I'm just basing it on a Fort becoming a Barracks and a Stable if a settlement is built on a hex containing one and a Watchtower hex improvement becoming a Watchtower building. I read that as a settlement overriding previous hex improvements.
