Pidget Tergelson - clarification on banishing and defeating

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

A quick clarification (request) on Pidget Tergelson from the Skinsaw deck.

You have the ability to banish him before or after the encounter. If you banish him, is he considered defeated (so would you get the chance to close the location)?

My working assumption is 'no', he is not defeated and you may not attempt to close the location.

Banishing a boon after not acquiring it is not the same as acquiring it, so banishing a bane after not defeating it is not defeating it. Or before, either.

Thanks, Mike.

These questions were posted as much to head off any coming queries from other players as to answer them for myself.

Other than these posts I think this deck looks pretty straightforward - great work!
