Try closing the subforum where you are getting those responses.
There are lots of forums here, and some of them exhibit almost zero shenanigans. The AP-specific forums, gamer life, house rules, they're all quite charming.
PFRPG general discussion and rules can get a bit hairy.
Ain't that the truth! I pretty much avoid the Rules forum due to general rudeness of the posters.

I avoid PF general discussion these days. there's a small circle of posters on that forum alone who dominate every single thread and shut out others, so I'm not bothering anymore.

Joke builds can have surprising effects. I remember my dark-creature Illumian Shadowcaster/Warmage I rolled up, thinking it'd be well below average(since those are two of the weakest classes in 3.5e), and I wound up curb-stomping most of the campaign(massive Hide bonus and an arsenal of Maximized spells). I retired the character to save the DM's sanity.
Its always funny when my wild empathy focused druid "Flutter" breaks a scenario.
