Ripnugget and Stickfoot battle

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

When fighting the villain Ripnugget and Stickfoot you must defeat one and then the other but it is still the same encounter so if I revealed a light crossbow to help defeat the first part of the card is it considered revealed for the encounter? I guess what I am asking is can I reveal it twice or because it is the same encounter do I need to have two weapons available to reveal for bonuses on my combat checks?

Liberty's Edge

Each check on the card is a separate check. So the limitations on the use of cards or abilities ends once the previous check is made/failed.

I agree with TClifford. However, since each check is separate, it is possible that you could lose your weapon to damage from the first check. As such, you'd have to still have it in hand for the second check, even if you revealed it for the first. Since revealed cards are returned to you hand, there should be no problem with revealing it twice, so long as it remains in your hand.
