In the additional resources from most of the adventure paths it opens up different summon monsters options depending on the specific deity of which you are a priest. My question is if you are a wizard or summoner who worships the specific deity can you summon the optional monsters from their list?
Last I remember, for PFS, it was limited to clerics of the deity only. I believe this came from a forum post by Mark Moreland.
EDIT:HERE it is...it seems somewhat contentious, but it was the last word on the subject as far as I know (other than the No Staff Response Required on a later FAQ request in the thread)
