The Sandpoint Devil
The Sandpoint Devil scenario is intended for characters that have completed the Burnt Offerings Adventure. It uses cards from the Base set, Character Add-On Pack, and Deck 1.
The Sandpoint Devil has always been a plague on the good people of Sandpoint, and this time of upheaval is no different. But now the Sandpoint Devil is no longer shrouding its presence in the cover of darkness and fog. Spurred by the machinations of Lamashtu and Nualia, it has taken to indiscriminately attacking anyone or anything it pleases. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Goblin Raiders are using the chaos caused by the marauding Sandpoint Devil to spread their own brand of mayhem once again. Luckily for the people of Sandpoint, the gods have heard their prayers, and have doubly blessed the Heroes of Sandpoint; to better fight the Sandpoint Devil, and to put an end to it once and for all. All the gods except for Lamashtu that is, who will do whatever she can to protect the favorite of her god’s-cursed births.
# of Characters: Location
1: Waterfront
1: Farm House
1: Treacherous Cave
2: City Gate
3: Town Square
4: Junk Beach
5: The Old Light
6: Shrine to Lamashtu
Villain: The Sandpoint Devil
Henchmen: Goblin Raiders
During this scenario: Remove Ilosari Gandethus from the Allies deck, or from any character deck. If he’s removed from a character deck, replace him with their choice of a named ally from the box, and switch them back when the scenario is over. Also, remove the “After this encounter, banish the Sandpoint Devil” power from the Sandpoint Devil.
Any blessing, except the Blessing of Lamashtu, played on a combat check against the Sandpoint Devil grants two dice to the check, instead of one die. If a Blessing of Lamashtu is turned up on the Blessings Deck, or the Sandpoint Devil is encountered at the Shrine to Lamashtu, then the “If your check to defeat does not have the Magic trait, the Sandpoint Devil is undefeated" power is added to the Sandpoint Devil for that turn. If a Blessing of Lamashtu is turned up in a location deck, banish it, then every character at that location summons and encounters a Wrathful Sinspawn Henchman. If a Blessing of Lamashtu is drawn into a character’s hand, from their deck, then bury the Blessing of Lamashtu and end their turn immediately.
Reward: Each character chooses a blessing of their choice from the box. Ezren, and only Ezren, may choose a random Spell from the box instead.

Since the Blessing of Lamashtu at a location is banished, there is no chance of one entering your hand except when you reset your hand at the end of your turn. Thus your turn is over anyway.
