I have done a full rebuild of this character, including a new name. However, I played a PbP with him and so he is over the avatar renaming limit of posts.

Can you please reset his name to Redwynna Rodelli?

Once the over 10 post limit is hit, the name is stuck to the character. If you need to build a new character, you'll need to make a new alias for him.

How do I re-associate it with the correct PFS number then?

If you transfer the character over to a new extension, then you will need to request your local Venture Captain to sign-off on the number change on all of your previous chronicle sheets. You will then use the new extension number going forward.

You can also rebuild the character on the same number that it is already associated, and even use a different name—however the previous name will still remain on the alias.

In both instances your online record will not be edited. However, per the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, p36 "Physical records always count as the truest accounting of a character" this is regardless of what may or may not be reported online. Should a GM ever take issue with this, please have them contact our Campaign Coordinator Mike Brock.
