Incredible finish but...

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

Ok... Here one for you !!

I finish the scenario " Local Heroes" with Sajan. There's no more blessing in the blessing deck. With my three blessing of the gods, I close my last location but I can't recharge my hand... Sajan is dead ? When does the game end ? At the closing of a location or do I have to recharge my hand ???

Thanks !!

The game would end at the moment that you close the last location, since that is the win condition. Normally, the game ends at the moment when you kill the villain and he/she has nowhere to run to. My group has finished at least two scenarios with characters that would have died after defeating the villain if they had to recharge their hands.

It would be a good news, but If I follow the turn logic, If a character can't recharge his hand... he's dead. So, If I can't recharge my hand at the end of the game... my character is dead...

I don't know... is there an official instruction that say's when the game end. At the end of the scenario or at the end of the turn order even after the end of the scenario ?

If The Villain Has Nowhere to Escape to, You Win!: See After the Scenario below.

So if you accomplish cornering the villain, you end the game right then. You go right to the After the Scenario section and start dealing with rewards and deck reconstruction.

And in the case of a villain-less scenario, the same logic would apply. The game ends as soon as you meet the win condition. That means you don't need to finish your turn, because the game already ended in the middle of your turn. So you managed to dodge the step where you had to recharge your hand, by ending the game before you got there.

I think you can also assume that you don't "bleed out" and that allies or villagers will save you from dying.
