Import Eberron stuff to Golarion

Conversions

I have seen some good conversions for Eberron to Pathfinder. The best conversion that I have seen is right here.

There are some really neat things in Eberron, but there are also some really neat things in Golarion. I was wondering if anyone has imported elements from Eberron in their Golarion campaigns. And, if so, what?

Personally, I like the following: War Forged, Dragonmarks, Dragonmark houses (or at least the concept of them existing, as I lean more towards them being a sort of noble lineage instead), Air Ships, and other magical transportation.

Basically I like the elements that make Eberron "cool" in my mind, but not specifically the setting itself. :) Sure, there are some fun elements from the different nations, but I find that I like the Golarion nations better.

Dragonmarks? Perhaps mutations from the mana wastes as a result of exposure to Primal magic.

Warforged... Well, I've tackled this throughout D&D in many ways! An advanced robotics project in Numeria (making Androids redundant?) Perhaps a rune based golem from the Lands of the Linnorm Kings. A flesh golem that escaped a mad alchemist in Ustalav.

As for flying ships and the like, Alkenstar's Steampunk weirdness or make it alien tech from Numeria. The Lightning Rail would be right at home in Alkenstar though.

As for 'Marked Houses, my knowledge of Golarion is some what vague, mostly focusing on the areas I like the most. So, I presume wherever guild-like groups and nobles fit the best would work. That or the mechanical aspects could fit cults revolving around Dragonmarks (like the Spellscar Cults in the 4th/5th Edition Forgotten Realms.)

Those are some good thoughts.

Regarding Alkenstar, as I recall they are a no-magic area so I do not think that the Lightning Rail would work there.

Can you tell me more about the Spellscar?

Realms of Golarion? In the case of Golarion, it pertains to the Mana Wastes and its warping magical effects, oddly similar to the Plaguelands in 4E Realms. Both are pretty much wild magic. I don't know about wild magic cults in Golarion, but in 4e's realms, religious orders formed around gaining these mutations. Maybe some of those warped by primal magic don't degenerate into horrors, but become more powerful, hence a reason to use Dragonmarks in PF. Perhaps this makes them more exotic, more desirable... In essence, having the Houses better fit into the setting with some lore adjustment. That or they're seen as forces of entropy masquerading among "regulars." Sort of the conflict against the mutants from the X-Men franchise. Just a few ideas.

As for the Lightning Rail? Swap out magitech for some Tesla envisioned engineering! Giant towers channeling electricity throughout the cars and into the rails, somehow generating the power to go without usage of coal.
