Secret Stash - where do the cards go?

When you pass secret stash it says "return the remaining cards to the location deck in any order".

Do these cards go:

a) at the top of the deck

b) at the bottom of the deck

c) your choice of (a) or (b)

d) any mix of (a) and (b)

e) anywhere at all (e.g. you can stick some in the middle of the deck)

I'm guessing the answer is (a) but my Munchkinly comrade tried to argue for (e) during the game last night!

The only way you could put it back anywhere in the location deck would be to actually look at the deck and choose where to put them. That would give you foreknowledge of what is in the deck which is outside the scope of the card or it would have said that. Logic states, you put it back on top of the location deck in whatever order you want.

Not really - you could put a card in position #3 but not look at or know what cards #1 and #2 were. Similarly you can put cards on the bottom of a deck without looking at the deck.

But I'm with you on this one - I just promised my comrade that I'd ask on here to confirm he can't be that Munchkinly in PACG!

Without seeing the rest of the card text. I would also agree that they should go to top, you are returning the cards and this part does not say to put them on the bottom of the pile (I thought there were a few cards that do specify bottom of pile, but I have been known to make errors).

The card says "...[take out one boon of a certain type of your choice then]... return the remaining cards to the location deck in any order"

Some of the other cards explicitly say the 'top of the deck' which is why my comrade was trying it on.

What do you do with the spyglass? It uses the exact same wording.

My verdict: put them back on top.

It's a co-op after all, but he's not used to playing co-ops without at least one traitor!
