Skills for a check versus character skills, does only 1 skill matter?

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

The character Lem has the Divine skill under his Charisma. If he stumbles across the Detect Evil spell an its Check to Acquire is Wisdom, Divine.

Does only the Divine skill matter (letting him role a d10 for Charisma and +1 for Divine? Or does the Wisdom part of the check indicate he needs to roll d6 but get's +1 for Divine?

The first. A character with the more specific skill (Divine in this case) can use that skill as normal for them (so Lem gets his d10+1) - anyone without the Divine skill has to use Wisdom.

Liberty's Edge

If the check says Wisdom, Divine, then you have two different checks you can make. Either with your base Wisdom or you Divine Skill. Now it is up to your character to see what base ability modifies your Divine Skill because it may not be the Wisdom ability.
