I've created a couple of "opening crawl" videos for Star Wars games but that's about it. They went over well. I've occasionally found other videos that were just right for something I wanted to show but, often, they would have required editing work to really be useful...and that take time and skill.
I've found that you have to balance player appreciation versus the work you put in to something. I have some players that really appreciate when I put effort into creating nice game handouts/multimedia/etc. but most don't seem to care one way or the other. When I'm playing I certainly appreciate it.
Not sure I've answered your question, really. I wasn't able to get to anything that seemed like what you were trying to show via your link...just sponsored videos and such.

Sponsored videos? I am not following. There are no commercials that I am aware of. There should be a heading that says "gaming."
