Hello Thom,
Yes, your two orders were combined, hence why the subject line of your confirmation email contains both order numbers.
Our system only charged you the amount of shipping & handling for the combined package. Since we do not charge your payment method until your order ships, you were not charged shipping & handling for a second package. More information regarding our billing policy can be found on our FAQ.

Justin,
In order # 2740005, I was charged $11.87 for shipping and handling...I used a $20 gift card.
The 2nd order, order # 2222411, I purchased 1 item and was charged $3.93 from my debit card. I checked my bank account, and I was charged the FULL $4.93.
Can you please tell me how much in total I was charged for shipping? And from which order I was charged for shipping.
Thank you.

The total shipping & handling for the 2 orders comes to $15.80. Our system divides the cost of shipping & handling across each line item, so since the orders were submitted at different times, the charges are broken into $11.87 for order #2740005 and $3.93 for order #2222411.

OK...but I don't understand. If I place all 5 items in 1 order the S&H is only $11.87. You are NOT shipping me 2 orders, but combining the order into 1. To me, that means I should get a $3.93 refund...seeing that I am not paying for the 2nd order.
Please help me understand this issue.
Thank you.
