Struggling GM - Season 4 game and season 5 goals - Questions

Unless I have missed something (and I pray I have), the adjustments for the season 0-4 faction mission/prestige point opportunities have not been published yet.

I'll be running a PbP version of 'The Disappeared' in the next 1-2 days and have posted up links to the Faction Mission goals on the Campaign page and told them to look to opportunities to forward those goals.

However it will be a bit arbitrary on my part to judge what does and doesn't advance faction goals during the course of the game. I've also said that they will get faction missions in light of me not having the update and to also see if they can achieve that.

Is this acceptable?

Also is the maximum # of prestige awarded 2 per session? 1 for the mission and 1 for doing something for their faction or is there multiple prestige that can be earned? The Season 5 rule book didn't seem to cover that. It just states that a character can earn 6pp a level (pg 24)

Hi Helaman,

For seasons 0-4 you will still use the faction mission handouts which are with the modules. The year long faction goals are not used for previous scenarios.

In terms of gaining Prestige, in the scenario at the end it will state that every player gets 1 prestige for the main goal of the scenario, and then the conditions for which a player of each faction can earn a second prestige point.

You can still hand faction missions out if you want, but they're not mandatory, and don't contribute to earning prestige.

For scenarios that award 1 XP, yes.
