So I'm running VV fairly clos to DM_Dudemeister's mods except hat Varnhold was bigger and just the city proper is wiped (roughly 10k people.) There will be a massive zombie horde (my player already have a fairly large standing military) as an additonal problem. I'm planning Drelev now because there will be little to no break after VV.
My Blood for Blood is going to be with a Drelev that has long disposed of his trouiblesome wife and married the mistress/bard/daggermark rep. In otherwords She actually runs the country.
1) They made peace with and provided arms to the Boggards who have driven regugees out of the swamp and into the PCs kingdom. The boggards army is roughly 1 k and well armed. The Bog striders and Orluth have been driven out.
2) They have allied with the Black sisters who have directed the Tigerlords to their prize.
3) The wizard is secretly having an affair with the new miss Drelev and has established a wizarding school.
4) They hired Mammoth riders.
Pitax is interested in allying with the PCs against this suddenly competent threat.
My PCs will be meeting Hannis, Pavetta (and That Annoying Dog), and Lady Maray at a coming meet-up of the chartered lords here soon in my game (along with Varn, the Iron Wraiths, and my Irovetti replacement) but by the time BFB rolls around Pavetta will be gone and Lady Maray will be already running the show.
Not sure what to do with the ex-Lady Drelev after that at this point. Maray is going to be a double-spy, a plant by Nyrissa who's done her job of getting the place under her control and handed over to her superior (Engelidis, Irovetti's lover, in my game is a half-fey Yuan-Ti and Nyrissa's daughter instead of a naga), and she's also working for the Black Sisters as part of their cult.
