I have just looked at my society characters and noticed that someone has used my character in some game session with out me being there. It seems the web site has even created a new forum alias for one of the entries.

These sessions were in the US but I live in the UK and I have never been to the USA.

My questions is this normal what advantage people get from using others characters in fake sessions?

I have reported both sessions.

It could just be a GM with bad eyesight or a player with bad handwriting. I can't think of a real advantage, so hopefully it is simply a mistake. Good luck!

It was likely simply a reporting error or transposed numbers

Portella,

I would suggest you bring this up with your Venture Captain. Your Venture Captain will most likely ask for the event number of the game sessions in question. They should be able to correct this situation..here is a link to our list of Venture Captains, our regional coordinators.

Perhaps it was a simple error where someone has gotten their pathfinder number off by one digit.

I am not sure what to do about the forum alias however.

I don't think this is normal.

I hope this helps,

Sometimes the forum alias is form filled when it is reported... depending on how the character was recorded. The OP might have used his forum alias associated with the number and character number.
