Chris:

I have played or run scenarios with enemies with DR/Cold Iron and Good or Silver and Good. Just don't recall which one(s) they are, offhand.

You're thinking too small. Two-hand the Trusty Buddy on a power attacking, raging barbarian and swing at something with DR/cold iron and good.

Three grand and a to-hit penalty (that can be eliminated with a single feat) to avoid needing to buy anything special for DR. Sounds cheap to me.

GinoA, I can see that being formidable, but (a) when have we seen, in PFS, a target with DR / cold iron and good, (b) how much DR was that, and (c) how do you think that an improvised weapon doing 1d6 would stack up against a masterwork weapon doing 1d12 or 2d6? Or a magical weapon with furious?

Chris,

Just to toss the numbers up, there are at least a dozen scenarios with DR 10+/with 2 requirements to bypass. DR15 has appeared at least 3 times. I'd rather deal with DR15 than a Shadow Demon below level 6...Just saying. I know of at least one instance of DR15/Slashing in a 1-5. There are at least 2 scenarios with creatures that require Epic and something else to bypass the DR.

I wrote this to not have any spoilers for which scenarios have the DRs this discussion is bringing up.

On a related note, the Trusty Buddy, despite not having it stated, should bypass any hardness under 20, just like an adamantine weapon.

Third page, and no mention of the crowbar made infamous in the Half-life series. Isn't this an homage to that very crowbar? Has to be! That thing was quite useful for smacking down weird aliens of all types and sizes, as well as destroying tons of objects.

And, since everyone is lining up on two sides of a line, I vote to let it ride. It does not feel game breaking, allowing it is following RAW (generally encouraged), and I also do feel that if leadership thought the RAW needed correcting, they would have done so by now. It sure would be an easy one to correct.

Much like the Confirmation chronicle's missing items, eh?

Even as I was typing that last point, I was thinking, "This balloon's probably going to get popped." You didn't let me down ;)

Still, based on the first two points made, I'm for letting it ride until we hear leadership state otherwise.

It just seems to be some reminder text that left out the word "Adamantine" because the creators thought it was obvious. There's really no reason a nonmagical crowbar should be able to bypass DR/-, no matter how far you want to rely on the poor wording.
