Is there any good resources for this organization? Or is it just listed somewhat generically in a few places?

The Faction Guide should provide about as much information on the Consortium as on any other organization listed in its pages. The Serpent's Skull Adventure Path features them fairly heavily.

They're in the Faction Guide, and I seem to recall the Rival Guide has an adventuring party sponsored by them in it.

It's worth noting that the material in the Faction Guide has been updated a bit from 3.5 to PF. Some of the earlier lore on them might not be entirely valid as they've changed slightly from the 3.5 campaign setting and Faction Guide versus the updated material in the Inner Sea World Guide.

Their focus, goals, and methods are still the same, but the origins and leadership has been tweaked a bit moving forward. But of course, use what appeals to you and tweak to fit your own games as needed. :)
