This question may have been asked before, but I am getting very confused.
In Rivers Run Red, pg. 56 there is the following passage:
"Landmarks: Landmarks are sites of great pride, mystery, and wonder. They serve well to bolster a kingdom’s morale. A landmark hex increases a kingdom’s Loyalty by 1."
But here's where I run into confusion: there appear to be two types of landmarks. One with a "landmark icon", and a "landmark site" meaning the site in the hex can be found easily. Just in the Greenbelt, there are three places on the map with the landmark icon:
*Statue of Erastil
*Lonely Barrow
And there are nine sites with the landmark designation (but without the landmark icon) in the Greenbelt:
*Rickety Bridge
*Mite Lair
*Nettle's Crossing
*Stag Lord's Fort
*Gurdin River Ford
*Lair of the Lizard King
*Candlemere Tower
*Abandoned Ferry Station
So my question is: are there 3 landmarks, 9 landmarks or 12 landmarks that can give a loyalty bonus in the Greenbelt?

I am rather certain that the rules refer to landmarks with icons on the map. Getting a +1 Loyalty bonus for the Statue of Erastil makes sense. Getting +1 for the rickety bridge does not. If the reverse were true, then hex descriptions would include other designations such as resource and lair, which they do not. The landmark designation is only for exploration purposes, wherein landmarks are automatically discovered.
