Pathfinder Society in the River Kingdoms

Hi there, Spencer is the name, player of PFS, and lurker of these fourms.

I have come to admire the development of this game and I am wondering, would there be a official Pathfinder Society Lodge in the River Kingdoms, or would someone try to start up a lodge for them?

Since it is mostly Pathfinder Society Members that find all the nifty relics out there, how would they get into the fun?

I believe that the Pathfinder Society is included as an NPC faction.

There is a pathfinder lodge in Daggermark. The venture captain is Istavil Bosk.

I'm thinking there could be a possibility that the various settlement training buildings could be representative of the different factions found in PF Society.

If you want your settlement to provide Rogue training you construct a Shadow Lodge, for example.

In Pathfinder Society, membership in the shadow lodge is being removed as a player option.

Don't confuse the metagame Pathfinder Society sanctioned player rules with the in-character Pathfinder Society.

Unless the lore has the Shadow Lodge itself being phased out, and no new members are accepted at all.

Of course, that could just mean "no new members being publicly accepted" in the lore. It's about shadows, right?

I'd love to see NPC Pathfinders making pests of themselves - Grabbing artifacts if settlements take their time about stopping escalations, exploring and looting dungeons that players have ignored too long, and basically acting as the cleanup squad for PvE content that "expires" before PCs complete it. That way they wouldn't be in direct competition with PCs, but PC settlements might see them as troublemakers.
