So in my game Ten Penny was convinced to turn and help the party - and so I've been working up her stats as an NPC cohort for the party (and potential backup character for the future/new player joining). However in doing so I've found an error - if fairly slight - in the printed stats.
Specifically I can't get her skill ranks and HP to work out.
Either she should have one more skill rank (assuming all 3 levels of favored class bonus were spent on skills) OR she should have one more HP (assuming one level of favored class bonus was assigned to HP - using 4.5 hp for her hp for levels 2 and 3. I guess it could be that she used 4 hp for levels 2 and 3 and one level of favored class bonuses it may work.
(my back-engineering of her skill ranks is that she has 3 ranks in Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Intimidate, Knowledge Local, Perception, Slight of Hand and Survival and 1 rank in Appraise and Disable Device (assuming she got to DD +10 via 1 from trapfinding and 2 from her masterwork thieves tools).
If you assume 3 ranks in Disable Device then she has 28 skill ranks so has 1 too many.
She also has three languages - Common, Goblin and Orc though without any ranks in Linguistics and an INT of 10 she should have only Common and Orc.

That's likely a result of something changing during development. I don't have my original turnover handy at the moment to compare to the final product. But, there are often occasions where I'll stat something up one way and the developers decide to do it a bit differently (which is fine and expected). However, in the course of doing that, stats or skill/hit point/language choices can get shifted around, and then you have to go back over it with a fine-toothed comb to assure yourself you adjusted everything else connected to your changes. Sometimes an item or two gets missed. So, it's probably just an honest error/oversight which slipped through editing. Regardless, it sounds like you've already got it figured out. So, adjust accordingly and you'll be fine.

Hit points and skill points should both be correct.
Hit points: 8+4.5+4.5+3 Con=20 hp.
Skills: 8 skill points x 3 levels +3 favored class = 27 skill points.
3 ranks each in Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Intimidate, Knowledge (local), Perception, Sleight of Hand, and Survival; 2 ranks in Disable Device (+2 from masterwork thieves' tools); 1 rank in Appraise.
Trapfinding is not incorporated into Disable Device and Perception totals, as those skills can be used against non-traps.
As for languages, looks like Goblin just slipped in there somehow. She should just speak Common and Orc.
