I wanted to take a minute to welcome the new VC of Louisville, KY, Chad Newman. His region will consist of the metropolitan area of Louisville, as well as Owensboro, Lexington, Bowling Green, Frankfurt, and surrounding areas.
I will let Chad introduce himself, advise what websites he will be organizing PFS game days, and any other coordination info.
Welcome to the team!

Thank you everyone, and thanks to Mike Brock for his vote of confidence in selecting me to help lead the charge to bring Pathfinder Society Organized Play to the Kentucky area.
I guess no introduction would be complete without a bit about myself. Well, I'm very new to the Pathfinder Society, having only been involved for a few months, but have been playing Pathfinder since its release. When I started PFS I had a rough time of it as there is no current presence in this area. Rather than curse my luck and give up, I started reaching out to the local stores and drumming up interest in organized play, which eventually led me to Mike with an armload of questions about what I could do to help organize the community. One thing led to another and I decided that if someone didn't step up and try to properly organize the Louisville area and the outlying cities then PFS would never have the ability to get a firm hold in the gaming community. So I submitted my application and here we are.
On the personal side, I'm a life long gamer, having started with the old Basic D&D set back in 1980 and have been working my way through dozens of systems since then. I was an avid Magic player in the early days and have also ran HeroClix and D&D Miniatures events. I have a strong passion for gaming and it is something I hope to be able to pass on to the younger crowd and potential newer players.
I'm an Army veteran, deployed during Desert Storm and my unit was one of the units involved with the Liberation of Kuwait in 1991. I'm an IT manager for a pharmaceutical logistics company in Louisville and am engaged to be married next May. We have three obnoxious cats and two birds and are happy to be child free and living the life!
I look forward to doing everything I can to being PFS to the Kentucky area and keep it going strong. Hopefully I'll get to meet some of you at GenCon this year and pick up on some ideas and suggestions on what you have done to grow the society in your areas.
As a side note, I'm currently working on getting louisville-pfs.com ready for launch. Its still a week or so away from being in a state that I would call "ready", but the bare bones are up there and available. The site includes a forum area that I will hopefully be able to get populated with starter information in the next week so it doesn't seem like quite the ghost town that it is currently.

Welcome Chad!
I have currently organized a mini PFS group here in Louisville, starting from this past March. We are ~12 strong, 5 potential GMs, but it is a generational group. Half the players are "dads" and half the players are "kids", ranging from 8 to 12 years old.
As soon as I can find your email address, I'll send you a message.
It's good to hear that official PFS organization is happening in Lousiville!
